1. How do I Join MUSKI?
Joining Muski is easy. You can either come sign up whenever we've got our table set up on concrete lawns (we're often out at lunch times selling trips, cruise tickets, etc.) or you can simply download a membership form, fill it out and return it to is along with the $20 membership fee. See the Join MUSKI! link for more details.

2. What do I get for Joining MUSKI?
You get to be friends with us!!! Haha, but if that’s not enough to entice you (we’ll be offended!) then you also get a Free MUSKI T-Shirt and a showbag of goodies. You get to come on our great ski trips (how often do you get to going skiing with 40 other soon to be best friends?).  The trips are great value for money because we get you guys the best deals and group discounts. You would struggle to be able to organise your own trip as cheaply and as hassle free as we can organise one for you!  We also offer cheap ski hire as well as great discounts from our sponsors.  There are so many reasons to become a MUSKIteer!  We run the best events and have the most fun out of any club on campus (check out the photos, we’re having the time of our lives!!) So what are you waiting for???

3. Do I have to be a Melbourne Uni student to become a member?
No. Whilst most of our members are current Melbourne Uni students, you don't have to be to become a member of Muski. We also have members who are past students or students from other unis. In fact our only condition for membership is that you be over 18, since we can't accept junior members.

4. Do I have to be a member of MUSKI to come on a MUSKI trip?
Yes, for insurance reasons everyone who comes on a MUSKI trip has to be a current member. So if you or your friends want to come skiing with us but aren't yet a member you will need to sign up . But hey since it's only $20, why wouldn't you join?

5. Do I have to know how to Ski?
No, of course not. At MUSKI we cater for all abilities and many of our trips include lessons to get you started.

6. Are there opportunities to race?
Yes, there are two events for racing against other universities, Victorian Intervarsity (Vic IV’s) and the Australian University Championships (A.U.C.). For the social racer there is our club race the MUSKI Cup.

7. Can I still come on MUSKI Trips if I want to snowboard?
Yes, we accept all kinds at MUSKI, even Telemark, XC, Snowblade and Tobogganers.

8. Skiing is really expensive, I dunno whether I can afford to go?
Don’t worry, when you ski with us, you don’t need to bring the mortgage to your house as payment like usual; whilst skiing isn't the cheapest of sports, we reckon our trips are probably the best value ski trips around. You would be hard pressed to oganise your own ski trip as cheaply or as hassle free as we can organise for you!

9. I don’t own skis or boots but still want to ski, is this OK?
We look after each other here at MUSKI, so don’t worry, we're not going to let you ski with two McDonalds trays duct taped to your sneakers (although it can be fun after a few drinks); we operate a full ski hire facility which we open throughout the winter season to hire equipment, pretty cool huh!!

10. Why are people at MUSKI So Good Looking?
I don’t know, some things just can’t be answered on FAQ pages.

11. How do I Pay MUSKI?

We accept Cash, Cheques and On-line banking deposits. Cheques can be made payable to “Melbourne University Ski Club”. Just write your Name and what the payment is for on the back of the cheque and drop it into the “Ski” Letterbox in the sports center. Acc Name: Melbourne University Ski Club
Bank: National Australia Bank
BSB: 083-457
Acc Number: 515 614 239

If you want to book accommodation at the Melbourne University Lodge at Mt. Buller, you need make the booking through the Sports Center, we don’t control the booking for the lodge. For more information see http://www.sports.unimelb.edu.au/ski/index.html

13. My older brother/sister/relative/policeman parent told me that MUSKI members are infamous for their random acts of stupidity and kleptomaniacy and heard that they once stole a picnic table and rode it down a ski run?
We cannot confirm or deny this "rumor".

14. What is MUSKI's policy on deposits and refunds?
