Your Melbourne University Ski Club in 2009!Welcome MUSKIteers to the 80th year of the Melbourne University Ski Club! Your 2009 committee (probably the sexiest committee in the world) has been working hard all summer to bring you the biggest
year in MUSKI’s 80 year history. 80th birthdays don’t come along very
often so we’re going to make this one last all year!
If this is the first encounter with MUSKI, congratulations on an
excellent choice. You're joining a club that's on a roll, having taken out the Victorian Intervarsity and Australian University Championships while hosting some of the wildest events on campus. If you get involved you really won’t regret it. If you’re
coming back for more you can expect more of the great MUSKI events we
had last year plus plenty more action on all fronts. So whether you’re
a member new or old, take a look through our website or our new newsletter, Off Piste, to see what we have in store for you this year.
If you've wisely made the decision to get in on the fun, MUSKI will be signing up members at the MUSA club days on Thursday the 26th of February (North Court) and Wednesday the 4th of March (Concrete Lawn). Additionally, we can sign you up at our BBQs and most of our amazing events.
Until the cold white stuff starts to fall there are plenty of social
events: BBQ’s, pub nights, the latest offering from Warren Miller,
discount store nights and of course of our annual River Cruise. Once the season gears
up, so do our trips and racing so there will be plenty of opportunities
to hit the slopes with your friends new and old. It doesn’t matter if
you’re a seasoned pro or have never seen snow, our trips are suited to
all types at MUSKI: skiers, telemarkers, snowbladers, ski bunnies and even snowboarders. We're
looking forward to hitting the slopes with all of you this season, and
retaining the Victorian and Australian University Championship titles
again this year.
Of course none of this MUSKI magic would be possible
without the awesome support of our sponsors. This year Dave and the
