MUSKI Ski Trips

With weekend and week long trips to Mt Buller, Mt Hotham and Falls Creek there is something to suit every MUSKI member! Trips go on sale at 12pm on Tuesday 8th May on Concrete Lawns. Don't be afraid to line up beforehand though, last year a spot on Buller Week required the dedication of two hours in line!

Buller Week: 8th-13th July

Our most popular trip of the season, we stay at the luxurious Melbourne University lodge (conveniently located 2 minutes walk from the pub).  This super value trip is jam packed with goodness. Carve up the mountain by day and take over the village by night.

Basic package + 5 day lift ticket, cost: $599
Basic package + 5 day lift ticket + discover lessons (compulsory for beginners): $649
Basic package only: $299

Vic IVs: 26th-29th July

If you like the thought of beating Monash by day and partying with their finest by night then VICs is for you. Never raced before? That's ok! Vic IVs caters for all abilities! This trip will be hosted at Buller again this year. Prices vary depending on what racing and accommodation package you need.

A standard package (4 nights accomm/3 day lift/3 races/social pass/a number of beverages) will be about $680. To be confirmed soon.

Hotham Weekend: 3rd-5th August

This year we’re staying at IHP and have the entire lodge booked out, so this trip is guaranteed to be a rowdy one. Hotham has a great lift ticket and lesson package and awesome terrain.  For those of you who can handle a little altitude.

Basic package + 2 day lift ticket and lessons: $390
Basic package only: $200

Buller Weekend: 10th-12th August

All the shenanigans of Buller week jam packed into a crazy weekend.  We guarantee you won't be making it to uni on Monday morning.

Falls Creek: 24-26th August

Fancy somewhere off the beaten track? For something different get along to our all-inclusive trip to Falls Creek. Premium ski lessons, breakfast and dinner are all part of the package.

Terms and Conditions of 2012 MUSKI Trip Sales:

1. $100 CASH DEPOSIT - required to secure a place on the trip.  This is non-refundable except at the discretion of the MUSKI committee (ie. someone replaces you or you have an incredibly good reason).
2. MEMBERS ONLY - Trip sales to current 2012 MUSKI members only. Member sign-ups will not occur on May 8th until after all the existing members have been given an opportunity to sign up to trips.
3. ONLY TWO TICKETS EACH - Each member may only reserve TWO spots on a given trip (including themselves and another member).  This is to prevent the single person in front of you taking the last 10 spots on the trip.
4. 18+ YEARS OF AGE - trips are only open to those of age at the time of the trips. This is in part due to serving of alcohol and related risks in the alpine environment
